Know When To Go
Use google.com/travel to find the best times to travel or to find cheaper hotel rates. When you go to the website, click on the “when to visit” tab. You’ll then see how the weather, crowds and prices vary across the time frame. Click “what you’ll pay” to find out if prices are low, typical or high for the dates you plan on visiting. Prices may be higher if there is a sporting event or a conference, so you may want to change the date of your visit.
See Personal Results
Using google.com/travel, you can track personal results for hotels. These are only visible to you and you can adjust your account settings to disable results. Using this system, Google can tell if you’ve searched or stayed at a hotel before, or if there are similar hotels available for you. If you’ve searched for points of interest recently, this website will also locate hotels close to those points.
Get the Total Cost of Your Visit
Once you pick the perfect hotel, you can now confirm the total cost including nightly and total price, with taxes and fees. On the “overview” or “prices” tab, you can choose to see the total cost when you check the availability of that hotel.
Narrow Down by Neighborhood
Click on the “where to stay” tab to receive a summary of top neighborhoods in the area, including what each area is known for, its location score and the average cost of hotels there. When you have decided which neighborhoods you’d like to browse, click “apply” to see only the results in the areas you’ve chosen.
Resume Planning Your Trip Easily
If you’re signed in to your Google account, you’ll see upcoming trips you’ve booked and potential trips that you are still planning. You can easily come back at any time to start your hotel search again.
